Dan Martin is a lifelong resident of Northeast Nebraska.  He has been in the Insurance and Financial Services business since the summer of 2011.  Dan and his wife Brenda own VO Enterprises, LLC, an independent insurance agency with offices in Howells and Beemer.  Dan holds Series 7, 63, & 66 securities registrations with Ameritas Investment Company LLC, as well as Life & Health and Property & Casualty insurance licenses.  Prior to this career change, Dan was an educator for 16 years.  He taught social studies and coached football, basketball, and golf in Beemer, NE for five years.  He was the secondary Principal and Activities Director at Elgin Public School for four years and then K-12 Principal in Howells, NE for seven years.

Dan is married with three boys, ages 15, 12, and 10.  Dan graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a major in Psychology and minor in English.  He also received his Master’s in Educational Administration and Educational Specialist degrees from Wayne State College.  Dan enjoys hunting, golfing, and coaching his sons’ activities.
